Halloween DIY: Destroyed Skinny Jeans

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to show you how to make a pair of Distressed skinny jeans that's simple and easy to recreate with just a few tools that you may have lying around in your home. Now this isn't really a Halloween DIY per se, but because it happens to be a part of my costume and I was trying to go for a more rugged and badass look, so I've decided to just make a little tutorial on how you can make distressed and destroyed details of your own that you can pretty much do to anything such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, or whatever else you may have in mind.

You Will Need:

• A Pair of Skinny Jeans (It doesn't matter on colour as long as it's made out of 100% cotton)
• Rough Sandpaper
• Box Cutter (or an Exacto Knife)
• Scissors
• Something sturdy that you can fit between the legs of the pants so that you don't cut through to the other side

Optional:

• Steel Wool
• Tailor's Chalk (or a Pencil or a Pencil Crayon if you don't have any Chalk handy) for the markings
• Miscellaneous materials and/or tools that you might want to add to the jeans

So Here is the Pair of Jeans that I started off with. I recommend that you buy your jeans from the Thrift Store or use an old pair that you no longer use. The jeans should be made out of 100% Cotton but these ones were 98% cotton and 2% spandex and they still turned out ok. But really and truly you should not be using jeans that are made from a blended fabric as they won't turn out as well.

Hey Guys I'm finally back to blogging after having my internet being disconnected for Three Weeks, which kinda forced me to jump from computer to computer as if I was some kind of a blogging vagrant. I hope this kind of thing never happens to me again because let's face it, It's extremely hard to even run a blog when you have no internet access to begin with.

I'm still kinda out of it and I'm actually feeling kinda bored right now so I'll just make this into a quick post and just basically talk about what I've been up to while I had absolutely no idea what was going on in this strange world...

I'm actually surprised to be getting this award. Because I don't usually get awarded for anything in my life, I'm actually really blessed and honored to be given this award today by a very special blogger who's fashion sense I have come to admire. I would like to give thanks to Jessica from JessTheGrrl for giving me this award and I'm really speechless right now so please give me a moment while I calm down from all of this excessive feelings of happiness and joy that I am feeling right now! Ok so maybe I am being a little bit dramatic about this and am taking this a little too far but you guys have no idea what I'm going through right now and this has really made my day! Sorry that this took a while for me to actually post this. I was still trying to figure out how to figure out how to answer some of these questions that she had given me as well as coming up with a list of people and questions to give to my nominees. You're in for a real treat today since I'm finally going to be able to share to you some of the unique things about me that you probably don't already know. I should probably warn you from now, some of my answers are a bit strange and weird and might actually cause you to question my sanity. Please proceed with caution!

My computer’s monitor screen just broke and I’ve been trying to look for ways to repair it without having to spend any money to replace the screen but yeah! Now since this month’s theme is Fandoms, I was super ecstatic to hear about the news and couldn’t wait to try out a few nails relating to a fandom that I’m sorta in. Again I must apologize as to why this page has been left blank for so long leaving many of my close friends and family frustrated as to why I would lead them to a blank page for a website. But since I don’t want to bore you with the gory details, I shall tell you all about that in a later post.

So basically this is an online journal of my personal style. I tend to wear clothing based on the current mood that I'm in as well as from current trends and what I'm inspired by. I’ll also try to include some nail art on here as well that I've been working on.
